I had a blast! The indoor heated pool was my favorite spot to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt right at home, even accommodating our puppy perfectly!

Rooms were spacious and clean. The indoor pool was nice; kids loved it. Wi-Fi was terrible and unreliable. Located near shopping and restaurants, convenient for quick meals after a long day. No hot water during our stay. decent for the price.

Comfortable beds and a generous hot breakfast made mornings pleasant. The front desk staff was friendly and offered great dinner suggestions, but the room—though spacious—had a lingering wet dog smell that was hard to ignore. Charging $200 more than quoted was frustrating, and the noise from trucks revving outside at night was disruptive. the convenient location next to a gas station and strip mall was a plus for quick access. While there were highlights, that musty odor and the billing confusion overshadowed some of the positives.

The room is spacious and well-lit. The breakfast buffet looks inviting with fresh fruit and some tasty options.
The hallway carpet needed a good vacuum and the elevator floors could use some attention.

The hotel is conveniently situated right next to many stores and just a short walk from popular restaurants like Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse and Bob Evans which made it so easy for me to explore the culinary scene after a long day of walking around town and soaking in the views of Summersville Lake which is less than 3 km away and the Summersville Arena that is just over a kilometer from the hotel, I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was friendly and helped me feel welcomed, the rooms were clean and comfortable but it could use some updates in the furnishings.

The indoor pool was chilly, and the hot tub was out of order. The breakfast staff was really rude, loudly announcing no more food. It was uncomfortable and made me feel unwelcome when all I wanted was a nice stay.

The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and very clean with modern amenities. The bed was especially cozy, making for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom stood out with its spotless new fixtures and soft, fluffy towels. the hallway carpets were stained, detracting from the hotel’s overall cleanliness. Noise levels were low at night, particularly since our room faced the mall. Temperature control in the room worked well, keeping it comfortable. Despite some amenities being out of order, the location was ideal for accessing restaurants and shopping nearby.

Breakfast was the highlight. The potatoes? Absolutely amazing. the experience soured quickly. No orange juice, limited bread, and a meager fruit selection. Arriving at 8:00 am to find essentials depleted was disappointing, especially with a full house. The location is convenient, close to dining and shopping, but the pool was the only fun perk; the hot tub was broken. Disturbances in the parking lot at night and cleaning staff barging in too early were unwelcome surprises. Staff was helpful, yet improvement is vital. Clear communication and preparation could elevate this experience significantly.

we had a wonderful stay at La Quinta. from the welcoming staff to the spacious and bright rooms, everything was top-notch. the staff was so attentive, courteous, and even sweet to our children, which was an unexpected bonus. the room was spotless and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. the location was convenient with easy access to the highway and nearby restaurants. we were 100% satisfied and will definitely return. couldn't ask for more!

First off, the ironing facilities in the room were handy as I needed to freshen up some clothes during my stay. The heating worked well and kept us warm on a chilly evening, which was great. the air conditioning units were quite loud, so we had to turn them off at night to get some sleep. I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. The sitting area was cozy, but I did notice that the carpets could've been cleaner. The bathroom was alright, but I did find a couple of hairs in the bathtub that weren't mine, which was a bit off-putting. the hotel provided free toiletries which was a nice touch. The room also had an AM/FM alarm clock and a mobile phone charger, which were convenient to have. The flat-screen TV worked well, but the connection was a bit spotty at times. The housekeeping staff did a decent job, but I did notice some stains on the carpet in the hallway that could use some attention. I also found it convenient to have shops and commercial services nearby for any last-minute needs. my stay at La Quinta was okay, but there were definitely areas that could use improvement, like cleanliness and noise levels. I hope this feedback helps others considering a stay at this hotel.

Some areas of cleanliness were lacking, such as debris on hallway carpets, dirty sheets with smudges, and an unattended broken window in the room causing noise and drafts. Inconsistencies in room upkeep were noted, and the issue of limited towel replenishment during the stay was disappointing.

We had a fantastic time at Summersville Lake and Dam, just a stone's throw from the hotel. Our family enjoyed fishing, swimming, and hiking under the sun at Long Pointe - an absolute blast for all ages!
My kids wished for a better-stocked hot cocoa station for a cozy Sunday morning.

My friends and I had a blast hitting up Summersville Lake for swimming and boating, then dashed to Dam for even more adventure! Plus, Nicholas Memorial Golf and Kirkwood Winery kept our fun vibes going!
More lively nightlife options nearby would have taken our trip from great to epic for us teens! .

I chose La Quinta for its convenient location near Summersville Lake. The complimentary WiFi throughout the property was a pleasant surprise, and the shared lounge was a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
